Privacy Policy

The short version
- This website has no cookies, analytics, or trackers.
- Links to our shops on Etsy, eBay and Gumroad take you to those sites, which handle orders under their own policies.
- Review posts on our blog can contain affiliate links to Temu, marked "Paid link". If you click one, you go to Temu, which sets its own cookies. This site sets none. Section 5 explains.
- Our games don't have accounts. Your game progress stays on your device, and we can't see it.
- Block Nook uses Google AdMob for optional video ads and Google Play for purchases. Google's software in the app collects some device and usage data. Section 7 lists exactly what.
- We don't run servers that store player data.
- Questions or requests: [email protected].
1. Who we are
GF Interactive is the name Blackketter Provisions, LLC, a limited liability company in the United States ("we", "us", "our"), uses for its games and products. We develop and publish the games described in this policy and run this website.
Privacy contact: [email protected]
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the GF Interactive website, including its blog, and the games we publish on Google Play. Today that means one game, Block Nook. Before we release another game, we will add a section for it here.
Google Play and Google AdMob are run by Google, which handles the data it collects under the Google Privacy Policy. The shops we sell through (Etsy, eBay and Gumroad) and Temu are separate companies with their own privacy policies; sections 4 and 5 explain how they fit in.
3. Our website
- The website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising, social media widgets, or third-party scripts or fonts.
- A third-party hosting provider serves the pages. Like any web server, it automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver a page and protect the service, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We don't use this data to identify or track you.
4. Our shops on other sites
We sell our products through Etsy, eBay and Gumroad. This website only links to our shops there; it has no checkout. When you buy from us on one of those sites, that site handles your order and payment under its own terms and privacy policy, and it shares with us the order details we need to deliver your purchase and give support, such as your name, the item, and, for physical items, your shipping address. We use those details only for your order, support, accounting and taxes.
5. Affiliate links in our reviews
- Some review posts on our blog contain affiliate links to Temu. Each one is marked "Paid link", and each such post says so at the top. Our Affiliate disclosure explains how they work.
- This website sets no cookies and doesn't track which links you click.
- When you click a Temu link, you leave this site and go to Temu. The link tells Temu that you came from us, so that Temu can credit us if you buy. Temu sets its own cookies and handles your data under its own privacy policy, not this one.
- We don't receive your name or contact details from these links. We haven't yet seen what reports the Temu Affiliate Program gives its affiliates; if we learn it shares anything that identifies you with us, we will update this section.
6. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include, such as your device model or a screenshot. We use it only to answer you, fix problems, and keep a record of support requests. We don't add you to a mailing list.
We keep support emails for up to 24 months after a conversation ends and then delete them, unless we need them longer for a legal reason, such as a payment dispute. Our email is hosted by a third-party email provider.
7. Block Nook
Block Nook is a single-player puzzle game for Android. It has no accounts, chat, or social features, and it works offline.
7.1 Data that stays on your device
So you can pick up where you left off, the game saves these on your device:
- your current game, score, and progress;
- your settings, such as sound, haptics, and theme;
- daily challenge progress, your best scores, and your local play statistics;
- which purchases and themes you've unlocked.
This data is kept in the app's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us, and we can't see it. If backup is turned on for your device, Android may include it in your device backup in your Google account, under Google's terms. We can't access those backups.
7.2 What we receive from the app
Nothing that identifies you. Block Nook doesn't send gameplay data, analytics, or crash reports to us, and we don't run servers for it. What we do receive comes from Google, in summary form:
- From Google AdMob: reports such as the number of ad requests, ads shown, and estimated earnings, broken down by things like country. These reports don't identify you.
- From Google Play: statistics such as install counts and app stability (for example, crash rates), plus order records for purchases, described in section 7.4.
- Reviews: if you review Block Nook on Google Play, we see your review and the public name shown with it, and we may reply publicly.
7.3 Ads (Google AdMob)
Block Nook shows a video ad only when you choose to watch one, for example to get a rescue or a bonus after a run. There are no banner ads and no ads that open on their own. If you buy Nook Supporter, those rewards no longer require an ad.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, a software component built into the app. Google publishes what this SDK collects. According to Google's data disclosure for the Google Mobile Ads SDK (we checked it on October 11, 2026), by default the SDK collects and shares the following data automatically, for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention:
| Data | What Google says the SDK collects |
|---|---|
| IP address | Your device's IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of the device. |
| User product interactions | Interaction information such as app launches, taps, and video views. |
| Diagnostic information | Information about the performance of the app and the SDK, such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage. |
| Device and account identifiers | The Android advertising ID, the app set ID, and, if applicable, other identifiers related to signed-in accounts on the device. |
Google states that this data is encrypted in transit using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. Google uses it as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Personalized ads and your choices. Ads may be personalized using your advertising ID, depending on your choices and where you live.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choices before personalized ads are shown. You can change them at any time from Privacy options in the game's settings.
- Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Android settings. You can also review how Google personalizes ads in Google's Ad Settings.
- Some US state laws give you the right to opt out of targeted advertising, or of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those laws define it. To opt out for Block Nook, delete your advertising ID in Android settings or use Privacy options in the game's settings.
We set AdMob to show ads suitable for the game's content rating. If you see an ad that seems inappropriate, please tell us at [email protected].
7.4 Purchases (Google Play)
Optional purchases, such as Nook Supporter and extra themes, are processed by Google Play using Google Play's billing system. Google handles your payment details. We never see or store your card or bank information.
- When you buy something, Google Play tells the app what you bought, for example the item, a purchase token, and whether the purchase is complete, so the app can unlock it. The app keeps this on your device.
- Google gives us order records for our sales, for example an order number, the item, the price, the date, and the country. We use them for accounting, taxes, refunds, and support.
- Purchases are linked to your Google account, so you can restore them if you reinstall the game.
7.5 App permissions
Block Nook asks Android only for what it needs: internet and network-state access (to load ads and reach Google Play billing), Google Play billing, the advertising ID permission that the Google Mobile Ads SDK adds, and vibration (for the optional haptics setting). It does not request your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
8. Children
Block Nook is made for teens and adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.
9. How long data is kept, and how to delete it
- Game data on your device stays until you clear it or uninstall the game. Our Delete your data page shows how.
- Emails you send us are kept for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them for a legal reason.
- Data collected by Google through AdMob and Google Play is kept by Google under Google's policies. You can manage it with your Google account settings and your device's ad settings.
- We hold no Block Nook gameplay data and there are no accounts, so there is no account to delete.
10. Security
Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Google states that the data its ads SDK collects is encrypted in transit. We protect our own accounts, including our support email, with strong passwords and two-step verification. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or certain US states, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict some uses of it, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent you have given.
Because we don't keep player data, most requests to us will be about emails you have sent us. For data held by Google, use Google's tools or contact Google. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: we handle your emails based on our legitimate interest in answering you and running our business, and we keep financial records to meet legal obligations. Personalized ads are shown only with the consent you give through Google's consent message.
12. International users
We are based in the United States. Google may process data in the United States and other countries under its own safeguards.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also mention it in the game's release notes.
