Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Blackketter Provisions, LLC, which makes games and products under the name GF Interactive ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to this website, including its blog, and to our games, including Block Nook. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

1. Who can use our games

Our games are made for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please make sure a parent or guardian agrees to these terms and approves any purchase.

2. Your license to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play our games for your own non-commercial use, on devices you own or control. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply to apps you get from Google Play.

Please don't copy, sell, or redistribute our games; don't reverse engineer them except where the law allows it; don't tamper with ads, purchases, or saved data to unlock paid content; and don't use our games to break any law.

3. Purchases

• Optional purchases are sold through Google Play and use Google Play's billing system. Prices are shown in Google Play before you pay, and Google Play's terms apply to the payment.
• Purchases such as Nook Supporter and extra themes give you a license to use digital content in the game. They have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money.
• Nook Supporter is a one-time purchase. It lets you take rescues and post-run bonuses without watching an ad, and it unlocks the Supporter theme.
• Purchases are linked to your Google account. If you reinstall the game or switch devices using the same Google account, you can restore them.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will help.
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

4. Ads

Some games show ads provided by Google AdMob. In Block Nook, ads appear only when you choose to watch one for a reward. We don't control the content of individual ads, but we set filters to keep them suitable for the game's rating. Please report any ad that seems inappropriate. Our Privacy Policy explains what data ads use.

5. Your saved data

Your progress is stored on your device, not on our servers. If you clear the app's data, uninstall the game, or lose or reset your device, your progress may be lost, and we can't recover it. Purchases you made can still be restored through Google Play.

6. Our content

Our games, website, art, music, text, and code belong to Blackketter Provisions, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. "GF Interactive", "Block Nook", and our logos are our brand names. You may share screenshots and videos of your own gameplay for non-commercial purposes.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

7. Changes to our games

We may update our games, change or remove features, or stop offering a game. If we stop offering a game, you can keep playing the version already installed on your device for as long as it works.

8. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, our games and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that our games will be error-free or always available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to our games or website is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the game and in-game purchases in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which Blackketter Provisions, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live outside the United States, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.

11. Products sold in our shops

This website doesn't sell anything directly. Products shown on our Shop page are sold through Etsy, eBay or Gumroad, and that shop's terms apply to your purchase, including payment, delivery, returns and refunds. Product descriptions here are summaries; the listing on the shop is the full description. We don't show prices here because they change; the shop shows the current price.

12. Reviews and affiliate links

Reviews on our blog are our own opinions, based on products we bought and used ourselves. They aren't professional advice. Your experience may be different. Some review posts contain affiliate links to Temu, labeled "Paid link"; Temu is a separate company, and its terms apply to anything you buy there. See our Affiliate disclosure.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If you keep using our games after an update, the new terms apply.
